Tim : The other day I bumped into Hyo-ri in the Incheon International Airport.
저번에 인천 국제 공항에서 이효리를 우현히 봤어.
I was so disappointed that I couldn't believe it was actually her.
그런데 너무 실망해서 진짜 효리라고 믿어지지 않더라고.
Kate : Pictures usually flatter star performers.
인기 연예인이란 대개 사진이 실물보다 더 잘 나오는 법이야.
eg) This photo flatters you. 이 사진이 실물보다 더 잘 나왔다.

* make one's day = to make someone very happy
* goof off = (informal) to waste time or avoid doing any work
Tim : What are you doing now? 지금 뭐하고 있냐?
Ross : Just goofing off. 그냥 빈둥거리며 시간을 보내고 있어.
Tim : Cooped up in the house on a nice day like this? Let's go play tennis.
이렇게 좋은 날씨에 집안에 틀어박혀 있어? 테니스나 치러 가자.
Ross : Oh, great. You made my day. 오, 좋아. 덕분에 신나는 하루를 보내게 됐는데.
Spill your guts out
* spill your guts = to tell someone everything you know about something, especially because you are upset
* pour one's heart out 은 [복잡한 감정을 털어 놓다]라는 의미로 보통 좋지 않은 이야기를 할 때 쓰는 말로, 긍정적인 이야기를 털어 놓는 의미로는 쓰이지 않는다...
* pour out your heart = tell someone all your feeling including your most secret ones
Kate : Tim, there's something I need to tell you. 팀, 너에게 할 말이 있어.
Tim : What is it? Go ahead. Spill your guts out.
그게 뭐지? 어서 말해봐. 네 속을 다 털어놔 봐.
Tim : Did Ross tell you about his problems? 로스가 고민을 얘기했니?
Kate : Yes. He poured his heart out. 응. 마음 속 걱정거리를 털어 놓았어.
Tim : Lots of things must be bothering him. 괴로운 일이 많이 있나봐.
Kate : Yeah, but he'll be better soon. 응, 하지만 곧 나아질 거야.
It won't happen again
* 자신이 저지른 잘못이나 실수를 인정하고서 다시는 그런 일을 하지 않겠다고 약속할 때 쓰는 표현.
Kate : I've been waiting for you for three hours. 널 세 시간 동안 기다렸어.
Ross : I'm truely sorry. It won't happen again. 정말 미안해. 다시는 이런 일 없을 거야.
If you ask me
Tim : I bought this leather jacket at the flea market the other day. How do you like it?
며칠 전에 벼룩 시장에서 이 가죽 재킷 하나 샀어. 어떠냐?
Kate : A little old-fashioned if you ask me. 내 생각엔 좀 구식이다.
