Better left unsaid
* be left unsaid = if something is left unsaid, you do not say it although you might be thinking it
* ignorace is bliss = used to say that if you do not know about a problem, you cannot worry about it

Don't take it personally
Ross : That was not very nice of you to say that. 네가 그런 말을 할 때 기분이 좋지 않았어.
Mariah : Don't take it personally, I just said it as a general statement.
기분 나쁘게 받아들이지마, 너를 두고 한 말은 아냐, 일반적으로 그렇다고 했을 뿐야.
* personally 는 [스스로][직접]이라는 의미가 아니라 [빗대어]라는 다른 의미...
Ross : The coach said that my swing is horrible. He said that I need to work on my backhand.
코치가 말하길 내 스윙이 아주 엉망이래. 그는 내가 백핸드를 더 연습할 필요가 있다고 말했어.
Tim : So, what's the problem? He gives advice like that all the time.
그래서 문제가 뭐야? 그는 너한테 늘 그런 충고를 하잖아.
Ross : Advice? I think it is more of a criticism. Against me, that is.
