* a bind = (informal) an annoying or difficult situation
Ross : I'm really in a bind. I don't know what to do. Can you give me some advice?
상황이 어려워. 무엇을 해야할 지 모르겠어. 조언 좀 해줄 수 있니?
Tim : I'll try. Tell me what the problem is. 노력해 볼게. 문제가 뭔지 말해봐.
Ross : I'm in a bit of a bind. Could you lend me a little cash until payday?
나 좀 어렵거든. 월급 때 줄테니까 현금 좀 빌려줄 수 있니?
Tim : Sure. I got paid the other day. How much do you need?
