You crossed the line
* be out of line = if someone's behaviour is out of line, it is unacceptable
Tim : You're the worst choice I've ever made. 넌 내가 한 최악의 선택이야.
Kate : That's it. You crossed the line. 그거면 됐어. 넌 지나쳤어.
위 표현은 상식 선상에서 정도가 지나쳤을 때 사용하는 표현입니다
This time you've gone too far
* go too far 는 [지나치다][너무하다]라는 의미...
* go too far = to go beyond the limits of what is reasonable or acceptable
Tim : What's bugging you now? 이제는 뭐가 널 괴롭게 하는데?
Ross : My promotion. 내 승진.
Tim : Why? Did you get left out again? 왜? 또 제외되었니?
Ross : Yeah, and I think they pushed it a little too far this time.
그래. 그리고 이번에는 약간 너무 지나친 것 같아.
* leave out 은 [제외하다][생략하다]라는 의미의 동사구...
Ross : She said she thought you were boring and conceited.
그녀는 너를 지루하고 잘난 체하는 사람이라고 생각해.
Tim : Well, that's just too much! 그래, 이거 너무한데.
eg) You must apologize at once. You've gone too far. 당장 사과해. 니가 너무했어.
I'm on cloud nine
* on cloud nine = (informal) very happy about something
* walk on air = to feel extremely happy
Tim : I got the part I auditioned for. I'm on cloud nine.
영화배우 오디션에 통과했어. 정말 신난다.
Mariah : Wow! Congratulations. I knew you would get it. 우와, 축하애. 넌 해낼 줄 알았어.
Tim : You look like you're on cloud nine, Ross! What's up?
로스, 너 무척 기분 좋은 것 같아. 무슨 일이야?
Ross : I asked Mariah if she'd like to go out with me and she said Yes!
마리아에게 데이트 신청했는데, 그녀가 받아줬어!
Tim : I don't understand why you're so crazy about her. She's a sure thing.
난 니가 왜 그 여자한테 목매는지 이해가 안간다. 그 앤 언제든지 데이트가 가능한 애야.
Tim : You've been smiling like a fool for a week. 너 일주일 동안 바보처럼 웃고 있어.
Mariah : I can't help it. I'm walking around on a cloud ever since Ross proposed.
나도 어쩔 수 없어요. 로스가 청혼한 이후부터 기분이 너무 좋아요.
Tim : Wait till you get married and have a few kids! 네가 결혼해서 자식들까지 한 번 낳아봐라!
Mariah : What's it like to have a hunk like Tim as a boyfriend?
팀과 같은 미남을 남자친구로 둔 기분이 어때?
Kate : It's like walking on cloud nine. 구름 위를 걷는 기분이지.
Tim : Mariah, you look like you're walking on air. What's up?
마리아, 너 무슨 좋은 일 있니? 너무 좋아서 입을 다물질 못하네.
Mariah : I'm telling you. I've been crazy about Ross since I first met him over the Internet.
제가 인터넷에서 로스를 만난 후에 그 사람한테 푹 빠졌잖아요.
And you know what? He poped the question yesterday!
그런데 무슨 일이 있었는지 아세요? 그가 어제 나한테 청혼을 했어요!
* pop the question = (informal) to ask someone to marry you
I'll go easy on you
* go easy on something = to not use too much of something
* go easy on somebody = to be more gentle and less strict or angry with someone
Tim : How about another game? I'll go easy on you. 한 게임 더하자. 살살 할게.
Ross : Not me. I've had enough for today. Three sets are all I can take.
나는 안돼. 오늘은 충분해. 세 게임 이상은 못해.
Kate : Are you having another one already? 너 벌써 다른 거 마시고 있는 거야?
Ross : It's just light beer. Don't worry. This is only my third drink.
그저 순한 맥주일뿐야. 걱정하지마. 이제 겨우 세 병째야.
Kate : Well, go easy on the booze. 술 좀 적당히 마셔라.

마이아에게 당분간 좀 부드럽게 대해줘. 학교에서 힘들어 하거든.
eg) Go easy on that beer if you're driving! 운전할거면 맥주 좀 적당히 마셔라.
Don't be too hard on her
* be hard on은 [~을 심하게 다루다]라는 의미의 숙어...
* be hard on = to treat someone in a way that that is unfair, unkind, or too strict
Tim : Mariah didn't come. She said to tell you she was sorry.
마리아가 안 왔는데, 너에게 미안하다고 하더라.
Kate : Well, I wish she would have at least called me. I've already bought her ticket!
참, 최소한 나에게 전화라도 했어야지. 벌써 그애 표까지 사뒀는데!
Tim : Oh, don't be too hard on her. I'm sure she would have called if she had had a chance.
아, 마리아를 너무 나무라지 마. 기회가 있었으면 틀림없이 전화를 했었을거야.
Ross : Do you think she'll be all right? 그녀가 괜찮을 것 같니?
Tim : Frankly speaking, you were too harsh on her.
솔직히 말해, 너 그녀에게 너무 심하게 대했어.
