* keep your cool = to remain calm in a frightening or difficult situation

Jay : Keep your shirt on and tell me what's wrong with the car.
진정하고 무슨 문제가 있는지 말해봐.
* a lemon 은 [엉터리 물건][쓸모없는 물건](something that is useless)을 의미....
Customer : Waiter! We've been waiting half an hour! 웨이터! 우리 30분이나 기다리고 있어!
Waiter : Keep your shirt on, sir. It's coming up. 진정하세요, 손님. 곧 나옵니다.
Tim : Oh, my goodness! We've got only 5 minutes before the movie starts.
맙소사! 영화 시작 5분 전이야.
Give him another call. 전화 좀 해봐.
Kate : Ross doesn't answer his cell phone. What the hell is going on?
로스가 전화를 안 받네. 도대체 무슨 일이지?
Tim : If he doesn't show up in 5 minutes, I'm gonna freak out.
만약 5분 안에 안 나타나면 나 정말 화나서 돌아버릴거야.
Kate : Please keep your cool. You know Ross, don't you?
제발 진정해. 로스는 원래 그렇다는 걸 알잖아.
* freak out = (informal) to become very anxious, upset, or frightened
Tim : Gosh! It's nine already. Why didn't you wake me up?
이런. 벌써 9시야. 왜 날 깨우지 않은거야?
Kate : Easy up, honey. You don't have to hurry up at all. Today is a holiday.
침착해요, 여보. 당신은 전혀 서두를 필요가 없어요. 오늘은 휴일이에요.

* keep somebody waiting = make someone wait, especially by arriving late
Ross : Sorry to keep you waiting. I'll be right with you. Probably in about ten minutes.
기다리게 해서 미안해요. 곧 돌아올게요. 아마 10분정도 후에요.
Mariah : That's all right. Take your time. I'm in no hurry.
괜찮아요. 천천히 하세요. 전 바쁘지 않아요.
Tim : Sorry to have kept you waiting so long. 오래 기다리게 해서 미안해.
Kate : No problem. I was a little early for our appointment. 괜찮아. 약속 시간보다 좀 빨리 왔어.
Kate : Aren't you ready yet? 아직 멀었어?
Tim : I'm done. Sorry to have kept you waiting. 다 됐어. 기다리게 해서 미안해.
Kate : Have a seat. 앉아.
Tim : Thank you. 고마워.

Tim : That's all right. 고마워.
Kate : Have you waited long? 오래 기다렸니?
Tim : No, just five minutes or so. 아니, 한 5분정도 밖에 안 기다렸어.
I waited forever
Kate : Where were you? I waited forever. 어디 있었니? 한참 기다렸잖아.
Tim : Sorry, but traffic was heavy. 미안해. 길이 막혔어.
Kate : Why didn't you call me? 왜 전화 안했어?
Tim : My cell phone was out of batteries. 핸폰 배터리가 다 떨어졌어.
He's all decked out
* deck 이라는 단어는 동사로는 [~을 장식하다]라는 의미로 be decked out 하면 [~을 쫙 빼입은]이라는 의미...
* deck something out = to decorate something with flowers, flags etc, especially for a special occasion
Ross : Your boyfriend must really like you. 니 남자친구는 너를 정말 좋아하나 봐.
Kate : Why do you say that? 왜 그런 말을 해?
Ross : He's all decked out. Look at his clothes! 쫙 빼입었잖아. 입고 있는 옷을 좀 봐!
Kate : Oh, he always wears formal clothes. 아, 걔는 언제나 정장을 입어.
eg) He's all decked out in his Sunday best. 그는 가장 좋은 옷으로 쫙 빼입었다.
I'm on a roll
* be on a roll = (informal) to be having a lot of success with what you are trying to do
Tim : I just got an A on my exam. I think I'm on a roll. I also got an A yesterday.
시험을 봤는데 A를 받았어. 일이 막 술술 풀려. 어제도 A를 받았거든.
Ross : I bet you must have studied a lot for those grades.
그런 점수를 받은 거 보니, 틀림없이 공부를 많이 했겠구나.
Tim : You better believe it. I haven't slept in weeks. 진짜야. 몇주동안 잠도 못잤다구.
