Tim : I think I have enough money to spend a week in Toronto.
토론토에서 일주일 동안 지낼 돈은 충분히 있다고 생각해.
Jay : What makes you so sure? Don't be so sure. Prices there are quite high.
뭘 보고 그렇게 장담하시는 거예요? 장담하지 마세요. 거긴 물가가 엄청 비싸요.
Ross : So anyway I had a good time. I'd better get going.
암튼 즐건 시간이었어. 서둘러 가봐야 하거든.
Mariah : So soon? 벌써?
Tim : Do you want to take off now, or stay for a while longer?
지금 떠날거냐 아니면 더 있다가 갈거냐?
Ross : I think we should get going. 지금 가야할 것 같아.
Ross : You're here early today. 오늘 일찍 왔네.
Tim : Yeah. There's a meeting scheduled for eight this morning. Don't you remember?
응. 근데, 오늘 아침 8시에 회의가 잡혀있잖아. 기억 안나?
Ross : No, I forgot, but it's almost eight now. We'd better get moving, or we'll be late.
응, 잊어버렸어. 지금 거의 8시가 다 돼가네. 빨리 가야겠어. 안그러면 늦겠는데.
Tim : Why don't you stay a while? The night is still young.
좀 더 있지그래. 밤이 아직 이른대.
Ross : No, I'd better go now. I have to get up early tomorrow morning.
아니, 가봐야해. 내일 아침에 일찍 일어나야 해.

Kate : Oh, yes, we decided to have each one pay 500 bucks for the Japan trip.
아, 우리가 여행경비로 일인당 500불씩 내도록 했어.
Tim : I'm sorry. Where were we? 미안해. 우리가 어디까지 말했더라?
Ross : We were just talking about the picnic next week.
우린 다음 주 피크닉에 대해서 이야기하고 있었잖아.
Tim : So, what do you say? You're coming or not? 그래서, 넌 어쩔 거야? 올 거야 말 거야?

Tim : I'll pick up the tab. 내가 낼게.
Ross : No. This is on me. I owe you a dinner.
아니. 이번에는 제가 낼게요. 저녁 신세를 한번 졌잖아요.
Tim : All right if you insist. 정 그러겠다면.
Ross : Sing a song, Mariah. 노래 한곡 해봐. 마리아.
Mariah : I'm sorry but I can't carry a tune. 미안한데요. 저 음치에요.
Ross : Oh, come on, go ahead and sing something. 그러지말고, 어서 한곡 해봐.
Mariah : All right if you insist. 정 그렇다면 좋아요.
Tim : I have 30 bucks left. What should I buy? 내게 30달러 남았어. 뭘 사야 하지?
Kate : If I were you, I'd buy gifts such as chocolate and perfume.
내가 너라면 초코렛이나 향수같은 선물을 사겠다.
Tim : No I think I'll buy some T-shirts. 아니. 난 셔츠 몇장 살거야.
Kate : Do you have any idea how I can fix the digital camera malfunction?
이 디카가 제대로 작동되지 않는데 어떻게 고쳐야 할지 알아?
Tim : Not really. If I were you, I'd phone Ross. He has a way with it.
잘 몰라. 나라면 로스한테 전화하겠다. 걘 디카에 일가견 있거든.
Kate : I guess you're right. 니 말이 맞는 것 같다.
Kate : What do you think I should wear for makeup when I go in for my job interview?
내가 취업면접보러 갈 때 화장을 어떻게 해야 한다고 생각해?
Tim : If I were you, I would go easy on the makeup. You want to look like you fit in.
내가 너라면, 가볍게 할 거야. 그 회사에 조화되는 모습을 보이는 게 좋거든.
Kate : Good advice. 좋은 충고야.
