Ross : I'll talk to you any way I want. 난 내가 원하는 방식대로 너한테 말 할 거야.

Mariah : Did you hear that Tim is tight with his money. 팀이 짠돌이라는 소문 들었어?
Ross : What? Bite your tongue! Don't badmouth him. He's a very nice person.
뭐라고? 그렇게 말하지 마! 그 사람 험담하지 말어. 정말 좋은 사람이야.
Ross : I have a crush on Karen. 나 카렌에게 반했어.
Tim : Are you serious? 진심이야?
Ross : Yes, I sure am. 응, 진심이지.
Tim : Why did you stand her up last night, then? 그러면 어젯밤에 왜 카렌을 바람맞혔냐?
Ross : I didn't stand her up on purpose. It was an accident.
일부러 바람맞힌게 아니고. 어쩌다가 그렇게 됐어.
Kate : There he comes! Oh My god! I think I'm going to faint!
저기 온다. 오! 세상에. 나 쓰러질 것 같아!
Mariah : You have got to be kidding. You mean you have a crush on Mr. Kim?
농담하는 거지? 그러니까 네가 김선생님한테 반했다는 거야?
Kate : Isn't he handsome?! 멋지지 않냐?!
Tim : I used to have a crush on Kate. 난 케이트에게 반했었어.
Ross : Really? 정말?
Ross : Karen's got a crush on you. 카렌이 너한테 반했대.
Tim : Oh, come on. Cut it out. 이봐. 그만 좀 해.
Kate : Ross told me he's got a crush on me. 로스가 나한테 반했다고 말했어.
Tim : I don't think so. He's flipping the script.
난 그렇게 생각하지 않아. 걘 거짓말하고 있는거야.
* 위 대화에서 flip the script 는 [거짓말하다]라는 의미의 슬랭...

Mariah : Yes. 네
Tim : Go past the restaurant and turn right. You can't miss it.
음식점을 지나 오른쪽으로 돌면 틀림없이 찾을 수 있을 거에요.
Mariah : Thank you very much. 정말 감사합니다.
eg) Go three blocks and make a right. And then keep going straight. You can't miss it.
세 블록을 가서 우회전하세요. 그리고 나서 똑바로 계속 가세요. 아주 쉽게 찾을 수 있을거에요.
eg) She's the one in the red hat. You can't miss her.
그녀는 빨간 모자를 쓰고 있는 사람이야. 아주 찾기 쉬워.
Tim : What's keeping Ross? Have you heard from him?
로스가 왜 늦는거야? 무슨 얘기 들었어?
Kate : Yes, he just called and said he will be here in twenty minutes.
네. 방금 전화가 왔었는데 20분 후에 온대요.
Tim : Ross was supposed to bring the parcel an hour ago.
로스는 1시간 전에 소포를 가지고 오기로 되어 있는데.
Mariah : I need it right away. What's keeping him? 당장 필요한데. 왜 그가 늦는거죠?
eg) He should be here by now. What's keeping him?
지금쯤 그가 여기 와있어야하는데. 뭐 때문에 늦는거야?
