for Koreans throughout the four season, Kimchi is the most famous Korean food.

¢À In the Fall, Koreans prepare enough Kimchi to last through the winter, when there are
no fresh vegetable.

¢À We observe New Year`s Day by lunar calendar. This day is the greatest holiday in
Korea. We call this day "Seol".
¢º Çѱ¹¿¡¼´Â ¼³À» À½·ÂÀ¸·Î ¼ì´Ï´Ù. À̳¯ÀÌ Çѱ¹¿¡¼´Â ÃÖ´ëÀÇ ¸íÀýÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ¿ì¸®´Â À̳¯À» ¼³³¯ÀÌ ¶ó ÇÕ´Ï´Ù.
¢À We dress up in our best clothes and visit relatives and neighbors to pay respects.

¢À August 15 by lunar calendar is called "Chusok", one of the largest holidays in Korea. It is the Korea version of Thanksgiving Day.
¢º À½·Â 8¿ù 15ÀÏÀº Çѱ¹ÀÇ Å« ¸íÀýÀÎ Ãß¼®ÀÔ´Ï´Ù. ¼¾çÀÇ Ãß¼ö°¨»çÀý¿¡ ÇØ´çÇÏ´Â ³¯ ÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
¢À At "Chusok", we pay a visit to our ancestral graves and observe a special ceremony to show them our homage.
¢º Ãß¼®¿¡´Â Á¶»óÀÇ ¹¦¸¦ ã¾Æ¼ ¼º¹¦¸¦ ÇÏ°í Á¶»óÀ» À§Çؼ Â÷·Ê¸¦ Áö³À´Ï´Ù.
¢À We make a special food called "Songpyon". It is a rice cake with mashed beans, chestnut or sesame seed stuffed in it.
¢º Ãß¼®¿¡´Â ¼ÛÆíÀ̶ó´Â Ưº°ÇÑ À½½ÄÀ» ¸¸µì´Ï´Ù. ¼ÛÆíÀº ÆÏ, ¹ã, Âü±ú µîÀ» ³Ö¾î ¸¸ µç ½Ò ¶±ÀÔ´Ï´Ù.
¢À August 15th is an Independence Day, one of the national holidays. Korea became a sovereign state from Japanese colonial occupation.
